I was working as a taxi driver at local taxi company, when one day, I picked up two black passengers from the airport. They were huge guys wearing NFL jerseys, caps and carried two large bags. From my rear mirror I was observing my two passengers, they were talking about the NFL games which will be held at this state, they asked me to take them to a particular hotel that was near the company I was working for.

When we reached our destination, they got out, paid the meter and gave me a tip. After a few minutes, while I was looking for passengers, a cat suddenly crossed the street, and I had to hit the brakes hard, that’s when I heard something fell from the back seat. The cat was okay and the owner was very apologetic. I said not worry about it, and I’m glad nothing happened to her cat. When I checked the sound I heard, it was a Louis Vuitton watch, and I instantly knew who it belonged to. I went to the hotel where I dropped my passengers from the airport, then I saw them getting out of the hotel, I walked towards them and said one of them dropped his Louis Vuitton watch at my taxi. The two men laughed and said thanks, they were searching everywhere for that watch. They were so happy that they gave me a hundred dollar bill as a reward for returning his watch. I said my thanks, and left. After my shift I went to the mall and bought myself a new pair of Adidas shoes with the money they gave me.

I was really into fashion, and I’m not very particular with the brand.  Just as long as I was comfortable and I like what I see in the fitting room mirror, I buy it.  However, as time went by, I realized that people are very particular about the brand of clothes; even though an outfit is fabulous, if the brand in unknown it is ignored.  That never affected my way of thinking.

For instance, when I bought my pair of UGG boots, there were other designer boots available, but what made me purchase UGG boots are the sheepskin material, that  has natural insulation properties that gives the boots thermostatic properties, its fleecy fibers allows air circulation keeping the feet at body temperature.  Aside from the practical side of the UGG boots, they were also very stylish and fashionable, with different colors and varieties, either slip-ons or lace-up, depending on what you want, you can also choose the height range starting from around the ankle to above the knee.  UGG boots are directed towards consumers like me, who value luxury, comfort and affordable all at the same time.   For my accessories like handbags and watches, it doesn’t have to designer items.  My Rolex and Omega are replica watches only, and my Gucci and Chanel  are also replica handbags.  They were a lot cheaper than the Genuine products, but I wasn’t really after the brand,  they exquisite design and style was what I was after.  Although they are cheaper than the genuine items, they are not comparable to  cheap imitations, they are made from quality materials.  Like my UBB boots, replica hand bags and replica watches, are the perfect example of fashion for less the price, without sacrificing quality.

Clothes are one of our basic necessities, but nowadays, clothes have exceeded their original purpose of just covering our bodies.  With the development of fashion, clothes became more than clothes, they became works of creative minds, works of art.
